Welcome to your Formative Certified Educator course!

Formative provides educators with flexible tools to effectively instruct, assess, and adjust in real-time. This course will deepen your knowledge of the tools and features built within the Formative platform and support you in building a strong learning experience for all students.

Course Objectives:

  • Understand and articulate the value of using Formative in your classroom
  • Examine best practices for utilizing Formative as an instructional resource
  • Examine best practices for utilizing Formative as an assessment platform
  • Analyze student data on Formative to inform instructional decisions
  • Apply strategies and approaches to design a learning experience for your students

Time:

  • We anticipate that the entire course, including Performance Task, will take 3-5 hours
  • You will have 30 days to complete the lessons and exam
  • Credentials are valid for 2 years

Why should you take this course? 

  • A certificate for 5 hours of professional development
  • An official badge to share on professional and social platforms
  • Educators who do not currently have access to a paid Formative subscription and who complete the FCE online course will be recognized with complimentary access to Formative Silver for 90 days. 

Tips for Completion:
